Working with Nestor as my drum tutor the last five or so years, has been a really great experience. The lessons are always fun, I feel I can let any stress out when I'm playing and it is a very comfortable and safe space to learn. Nestor is incredibly nurturing and patient. He is very approachable and understands me and my quirks, which makes a huge difference, and because of his support, my confidence has grown, and I have felt comfortable being myself in the music studio. He has so far supported me through my grade 1 and 2 exams, but also encourages creativity in the sessions and the desire to try new things. I have not only developed my drumming skills but also expanded my knowledge of music and learned to recognise my own abilities. He has helped me discover a deeper love for music and inspired me to step outside of my comfort zone, and these lessons have also complimented my studies in Music Production at college. I am so grateful for everything I have and continue to learn, and do not hesitate in recommending Nestor to anyone looking for a dynamic drum tutor!

Nestor has been a phenomenal teacher all throughout the five years I have been attending his lessons and he has helped me immensely with every aspect of my playing, from fundamentals to advanced techniques, each explained in a friendly, in-depth and intuitive way. He has also helped me develop my understanding of music as a whole and the role and theory behind drumming within it, overall making me a better player in every aspect, even those that aren't as tangible as others. Beyond just drumming, he has been an amazing friend to talk to about anything, whether it be music or something else. I cannot recommend Nestor enough as he has truly helped to fuel my passion for drumming and given me the skills to branch out on my own into most genres.

Nestor has taught me for a long time now and I always look forward to every lesson. He’s so patient and very encouraging, he always takes my ideas into consideration and is always so positive. Nestor is easily one of my favourite teachers I’ve ever had!

Working in a busy job during Covid I had a desire to learn the drums. At 50+ years of age it was a daunting prospect having last banged a snare drum in the boy scouts when I was 14. So, I booked a series of lessons with Nestor and my weekly lessons soon became one of the highlights of my week. After a few months being taught by Nestor I was invited to join a guitarist for a jam and I was hooked. This developed into other musicians joining us and now a couple of years later I am in a band playing a range of songs from the sixties to the noughties. If it had not been for Nestor’s support and patience, I would never have reached this stage. I’ve now performed in at least ten gigs, and more are booked! I owe so much to Nestor for getting me to this stage and there is no way I will be stopping my lessons with him.
